Standard Mobile Home/Manufactured Home Insurance Coverage Section

Covers the cost to repair or rebuild the structure of your mobile home as well as attached structures such as awnings and decks in the event of a covered loss.

Protects your personal belongings in the event of a covered loss. Examples are electronic devices, clothing, and furniture.  Sublimits are available for certain items such as jewelry, art, and collectibles.  Higher limits can be scheduled on a ‘rider’.  See below for more details.

This coverage provides liability coverage for you if you are legally responsible for damage to another person’s property or injury.

This covers structures like sheds and fences

Also known as ‘Additional Living Expenses’.  Should you have a covered loss, you may be unable to stay at your mobile home.  This coverage helps pay for hotel costs and other expenses up to your policy limit.

Endorsement and Riders for Arizona

This additional coverage protects your appliances from damage.  It does not cover normal wear and tear or maintenance issues.

Your policy may have sublimits and limitations for high-value personal items.  We recommend scheduling them on a floater to avoid any confusion.  Examples would be jewelry, firearms, fine arts, computer hardware and software, antiques, money, and collectibles.  We can help you determine what will fit on a coverage floater.

Covers damages for at-home businesses

This optional coverage is essential in today’s digital landscape.

Everything is getting more expensive.  This coverage increases your coverage limit to keep pace with inflation so you are not under-insured.

  • Determining the proper value of your home is important.  While you may save a few dollars insuring your home at a depreciated value (Actual Cash Value), you may find the depreciated claim award is not enough to replace your home. This can lead to increased out of pocket expenses during a time of crisis.
    • Replacement cost (RCV) is the amount of money needed to repair your home at today’s price with a similar or like item.  Suppose you purchased a 1,800 sq ft manufactured home 8 years ago for $45,000 ($25/sq ft).  That same house may now be valued for $150,000 ($85/sq ft).  If you don’t insure your structure with RCV, you will have a significant shortfall of $105,000 if you have a total loss.

If your sump pump fails, this coverage covers the cost to clean up and repair the damage.

This optional rider covers liability for boats or personal watercraft.

Yes!  A list of riders is illustrated above for your review.

Yes.  Your Arizona mobile home coverage does not provide coverage for flood and earthquake coverage.  Similarly, it does not cover damage that is a result of deferred maintenance or normal wear and tear.  Voluntary property damage is also excluded.

The age of your home is a major pricing factor.  Homes older than 25 years may not be eligible for coverage for some markets or they may include pricing debits.  Location is another factor.
