Common Questions and FAQs (10 illustrated)

Most car insurance carriers look at your driving record, where you live and drive, the year/make/model of your vehicle, your credit score, and payment history.

Arizona requires drivers to meet or exceed the minimum coverage limit of $25,000 per person/$50,000 per accident/$15,000 property damage typically shown as 25/50/15.

Arizona and Utah law requires you to immediately get a state-issued driver’s license if you relocate from out of state.

No.  If you are relocating from a state that offers PIP coverage, you may be surprised to learn Arizona does not require this coverage.

Yes.  Per Utah Code Ann. 31A-22-302(1), PIP is a mandatory part of all Utah car insurance policies.

Getting a quote is easy.  We will need some basic information including the zip code where you live, your driver’s license number, the make/model/year of your car including any customizations, your VIN number, and the miles on your vehicle.

Yes.  Arizona law requires you to list anyone who regularly drivers your car to be listed as an insured party on your car insurance policy.

There are many advantages of working with an independent agent on your policy.  Because of our high-volume quote experience, we can steer you toward the programs that fit your budget, driving history, and needs.  This will save you time and money in the long run.  In addition, we can hunt down discounts you may be unaware of if you were to quote your policy directly.  Another benefit is the advice you get working with a friendly, local, insurance advisor.  Many of our customers like that they can drop into our local office and talk to their account manager in person.  You don’t get that service when you are forced to talk to a call center or a chat bot.

Four scenarios are generally excluded on a personal auto policy: general maintenance, personal items inside your vehicle, commercial uses (such as ridesharing services), and injury to pets.  If you own a business and use your vehicle for company purposes, it is recommended you migrate your policy to a commercial policy.

Under comprehensive coverage, Arizona insurance companies are required to offer a $0 deductible option for windshield replacement.  Need a referral for a repair or replacement?  We have referrals for local, reputable companies.

Yes!  We can help get coverage if you have a DUI.  You will be required to obtain a SR-22 for five years.  The SR-22 is not an insurance policy. It is evidence that you have an insurance policy.

A SR-22 is a safety responsibility law that requires certain drivers to carry additional proof of insurance for five years.  Drivers who have their license suspended for driving without valid proof of insurance, are convicted of a DUI, or are cited for reckless driving may be required to carry an SR-22.

We do not offer Mexico coverage.
