Standard Rental Insurance Coverage Section

Covers personal belongings such as furniture, clothing, electronics, home goods, hobby equipment, bicycles, musical instruments, and more.  If you have high-value items, you will have the option to add coverage on a special endorsement.  You can choose to have your property covered on a depreciated (actual cash value) or replacement cost basis.

Protects you in case you are sued from a covered cause of loss such as incidents originating on your property, animal bites, accidental damage to a neighbor’s property.  Legal defense is often outside your policy limits although each policy is different.  If you need higher limits of liability, you can add an umbrella limit for higher limits.

Provide reimbursement for covered disasters that require you to temporarily leave your property while repairs are made.  Covered expenses are typically additional lodging, food, and living expenses.

Protect you should a guest become injured at your property.  Medical coverage provides a small medical benefit on a ‘no fault’ basis to help cover minor medical needs.
